Good Beer for a Good Boy
It was a good day to be in a good city. As the rest of our day consisted of… well you guessed it. More Breweries.
Lunch was had and we were feeling slightly better about the day ahead. Despite over imbibing at Lakefront Brewery. Who is to blame us though? It seems the more cheer that is around us. The more cheers we end up having.
Despite the breaking our own rules. We knew it was going to be a good day in this good city. As we headed off in the direction of Good City Brewing Company.
A chilly day always pairs best with a chilly beer. That's our motto and this breweries "Motto" well maybe not, but this is their beer! A tasty Mosaic Pale Ale.
We aren’t sure what it is about us and Mosaic hops. We always seem to gravitate toward them. We feel like it may just be because the first IPA we absolutely fell in love with was a SMaSH Mosaic IPA. This one brought back a bit of nostalgia from that brew back in the day and we smiled thinking about how far we have come.
Thinking back started making us home sick. We missed our puppies. We don’t have any family or children back in Denver, so they are our focus. No matter the situation they are always happy to see you, but make sure you keep an eye on them. Or they will steal your food or heck, even your beer.
Craving some unconditional affection, it only made sense to go to a dog themed brewery. Black Husky Brewing.
Making our way inside we were greeted by two of the most gorgeous Samoyeds in existence and by the time we were done saying hello to them, we almost forgot why we came here.
Distracted like a dog seeing a squirrel, we regain composure and left the choice of beer up to our senses. The Maple Brown Ale. Deep rich malts were the Alpha in this brew. While the maple is mild and subsequently the Beta. As a wolf pack though, it was delicious.
